I am an OAA-registered Intern Architect with 5 years of specialized experience in working with existing buildings - developing familiarity with historic styles, construction methods and conservation techniques in Ontario. It has also developed my knowledge and understanding of local materials and technical detailing strategies. I am committed to designing thoughtful, context- sensitive interventions - whether within existing buildings or the broader urban fabric.
I completed my undergraduate and masters degrees at the University of Waterloo School of Architecture in 2022. During my graduate studies at the University of Waterloo, I focused on understanding contemporary residential development patterns in Lahore, Pakistan. My academic and professional work has helped me understand the complex social, economic and political strata in which we practice as architects and designers. The act of design and construction can be a complex act, as we take intangible ideas and carry them into the material world through seasoned practice and discretion.
